## 72 MW — Solar PV, England

- Scope: Data and communications commissioning
- Client: European EPC contractor

Ground-mount plant with 13 transformer stations and 213 string combiner boxes. CrestWatt delivered data cable testing and termination across the plant to the client’s splicing plan, SCADA drawings and monitoring architecture, covering the communications layer from combiner box to transformer station to plant SCADA. Every link tested, certified and recorded. Proposal issued three days after the initial call.

## 40 MW — Solar farm with 66/33 kV grid substation, West Yorkshire

- Scope: Electrical site supervision; substation equipment supply; HV cable supply; fibre and CAT7 certification
- Client: European EPC contractor

40 MW (54 MWp) solar farm connecting through a new 66/33 kV grid substation.

- **Substation supply:** 66 kV cable sealing ends; 110 V DC battery and charger systems; 33 kV protection package including six ABB Relion relays from UK stock to the client relay schedule, with CT and VT supply.
- **HV cable supply:** 66 kV and 30 kV XLPE cable from an accredited overseas manufacturer, with freight, customs clearance and origin documentation managed by CrestWatt.
- **Site supervision:** embedded electrical site supervisor inspecting the main electrical subcontractor’s earthing, inverter, LV and transformer station works, with structured digital records and daily reporting.
- **Communications testing:** fibre optic and CAT7 testing and certification across the site.

The engagement began as a single supervisor placement and extended into supply and commissioning.

## 480 MW — Solar development, three phases

- Scope: PV and electrical design
- Client: European EPC contractor, framework agreement

One of the largest solar developments in the UK, delivered as three sub-projects. CrestWatt engineers provided PV and electrical design as subcontractor to the EPC under a framework agreement, including the techno-commercial proposal and delivery framework for the design scope.
